Squeakers 4 - 10 months
Even Squeakers have a lot to say and JW Tumbles loves to listen. In this class, children ages four to 10 months learn how to crawl through tunnels, ride on cool toys, do thumb pull-ups, manipulate objects and follow along with songs. In the development of these skills, understanding of speech improves and a sense of trust starts to develop. Squeakers also start gaining a better awareness of things around them and begin understanding cause/effect.
Open Gym 4 months - 9 years
Open play time in the gym for enrolled members (and non-members depending on location). Kids get a chance to play in our gym; a safe and clean environment free from the cold or heat. Continuous supervision of a parent is required.
Pay to Play 4 months - 9 years
Open play time in the gym for members and non-members. Kids get a chance to play in our gym; a safe and clean environment free from the cold or heat. Continuous supervision of a parent is required.
PlaySpace under 7 years
At various times throughout the week we convert our state-of-the-art gym into a supervised indoor playspace where kids can climb, play, and explore with new friends. Playspace passes may be purchased at the front desk.
Tumble Together 6 months - 5 years
Trying to juggle two kids? Come tumble with us instead! We've combined elements of our signature Tumbles programs into activities that are exciting for little ones and their big sibs to do together, and only one grown-up lap is required! Circle time, relays, tumbling, swings and more! (60 minutes)
The Musical Mayhem of Bobby Doowah under 5 years
Come join us for our exciting new music program with songs, dancing, instrument exploration, and of course, tons of fun!! Bobby Doowah's contagious enthusiasm, orginality and creativity has been captivating and entertaining children for over nine years. As a former educational consultant specializing in music theory and movement, Bobby has created his unique brand of entertainment to help children focus their attention, induce participation and improve memory retention. He recognizes how children will often repeat-play music and has developed his "Musical Mayhem of Bobby Doowah" program with repeat listening in mind, creating a rich and interesting mix of lyrics and music that remains fresh and interesting for children and their parents. Using accessories such as scarves, drums, xylophones, bells and bubbles, Bobby Doowah keeps the class fun as well as focused.
Siblings 4 months - 4 years
Do you have more than one little Tumbler and time for only one class? We've combined elements of our Squeakers, Wobblers, Wigglers, Twos, and Stompers programs to create one exciting class for siblings. Only one grown-up is required!
Musical Dynamos 4 months - 5 years
JWT’s music and movement class for infants, toddlers and preschoolers that includes activities designed to promote musical learning across ages. In this music class, infants, toddlers, and preschoolers along with their parents or caregivers join together to explore different variations of music and rythms. Activities include playing rhythm instruments, having fun with finger plays, and singing and dancing.
Move n Groove 6 months - 3 years
This interactive class includes instruments, puppets, letter of the week, story of the week, scarves, parachute play, drum circle time and, of course, bubbles. Music from 50's Doo-Wap to 90's Pop makes this a class parents will love too! Ages 6-36 months.
Baby Signing Time under 3 years
Babies crawl before they can walk and they sign before they can talk! Baby Signing Time is a unique early communication class for caregivers and little ones to attend together. In this class, we will use songs, stories, games and activities to learn to communicate using signs from American Sign Language in a way that is fun and easy. Parents are sure to be amazed by the many benefits of signing with babies and toddlers. Our weekly handouts will help families remember the signs we learn. This class is based on the award-winning Baby-Signing Time! series as seen on Nick Jr, Noggin and PBS Kids) and taught by certified instructor Chloe Tompkins (formerly of Tumbles Rye Brook).
